Rough and Tumble: Sculpture by Eric Conrad @ The NAU Art Museum Tickets
Sep 9 – Nov 23 all-day

Eric Conrad employs resolutely “anti-art” materials such as cast-off clothing, team mascots and cheap souvenirs to create sculptures that are simultaneously funny, creepy and surprisingly moving. His works, which typically involve multiple figures in awkward situations, evoke the general confusion of life, love, thwarted desires and mistaken signals. The inherently democratic nature of his materials only underscores the universality of the emotions and experiences his figures express.

Join us to witness what is considered to be one of Tony Foster’s greatest achievements, “Searching for a Bigger Subject: Watercolour Diaries from Everest and the Grand Canyon” This exhibition explores the vast landscapes of two very different ecosystems from an artists perspective.
