Star Wars has had a strong influence on many contemporary Native artists, whose art reflects the images and themes of the popular series. This exhibition features work by more than 20 different contemporary Native artists, including paintings, prints, posters, t-shirts, jewelry, figures, carvings and pottery, and explores the reasons Star Wars resonates with them.

WHO: Anyone who wants to start their Thanksgiving Day off by running, hiking or just casually chillin’ in the pines!
WHAT: A social run followed by pie, dranks and prizes
WHEN: Thursday, November 22nd – meet at 8:00, run will start at 8:15am
WHERE: Meet at the Lowell Observatory parking lot
Open to all ages and abilities; we will have 3 course options to choose from:
👉 Eazy Peazy Lemon Squeezy- 1.8 miles
👉 Chill- 3.1 miles
👉 Hype- 6 miles
Once we’re finished running we will pour up *drank* some mimosas, eat some pie and give away some Trail GangstAZ goodies.

Join us for the start of holiday festivities downtown! On Saturday, December 7th, Winter Wonderland and the annual Tree Lighting takes place from 3-8pm! ALL FREE!
Beginning at 3pm there will be music, crafts, hot cocoa and more! The Tree Lighting takes place at 5:30pm. Make sure to stick around for pictures with Santa from 6-8pm! Kick off your holiday season in Downtown Flagstaff – home of Arizona’s Winter Wonderland!
